About DistressScope

Independent property discovery with source history

DistressScope is an independent search and research product for public auction and special-situation property opportunities. It is not an auction house, estate agent, lender, seller, or valuation service.

What DistressScope adds

Public listings are normalized into one searchable catalogue so users can compare location, guide price, sale timing, status, source, and available property details across providers.

DistressScope records first and latest observations and reliable source changes. For selected England and Wales properties, conservative matching can add official HM Land Registry sold-price history. Eligible GB market pages also show derived statistics only when sample-size rules are met.

Sources and freshness

Opportunity facts come from identified public source pages. Source coverage and update timing vary, so each record shows its source and observation dates where available. The original source remains the place to confirm current legal documents, bidding terms, dates, and results.

Historical status does not prove a sale, and a missing published result is not treated as one. Ambiguous property-transaction matches are kept out of the public sold-price view.

Corrections and questions

To report an incorrect DistressScope record, send the opportunity URL, the field in question, and a reliable supporting source through the contact page. DistressScope can correct its own presentation but cannot change the originating publisher's page.

Independent use and disclosures

Advertising, sponsored placements, and affiliate recommendations are labelled separately from opportunity records. They are optional and do not replace independent checks or professional advice. DistressScope does not guarantee data accuracy, property condition, auction outcomes, or investment suitability.
